On September 16, 2026, Resilient Development Initiative Ethiopia (RDI), through locally mobilized resources and the generous contributions of volunteers, provided and distributed essential education materials, including exercise books and pens, to 105 targeted students (47 female and 58 male) to support their education and help them return to school with confidence.
In addition to the distribution of education materials, RDI conducted back-to-school campaigns, community mobilization, and sensitization activities to promote education and encourage community support for children’s learning.
As part of the project, these activities have continued through December, including school attendance support, supporting school clubs, and monitoring education-related issues. These ongoing efforts aim to strengthen school participation, support students’ learning, and contribute to a more supportive and inclusive school environment.
Representatives from the Zonal Education Office and Guto Gidda Woreda Education Office were present during the distribution. We sincerely thank the school, Woreda and Zonal Education Offices for their valuable support, strong commitment, and continued collaboration with RDI in making this initiative possible.
