August 2026 Resilient Development Initiative (RDI) officially inaugurated its organization and launched its first project in Nekemte Town, marking an important milestone in our commitment to advancing resilient, inclusive, and sustainable development.
RDI\’s first project is built on locally mobilized resources, volunteer commitment, and the valuable support and contributions of local institutions. This community-driven foundation reflects the power of local ownership, collective action, and partnership in creating meaningful and lasting impact.
The inauguration and project launch brought together government stakeholders, development partners, representatives of international and local organizations, and other key actors. Their participation reflects the importance of collaboration and shared commitment in translating development priorities into meaningful action for communities.
RDI extends its sincere appreciation to our Board Members, Senior Management Team, government stakeholders, partners, volunteers, and all participants who joined us on this important occasion and contributed to the successful launch of this new chapter.
