Resilient Development Initiative (RDI), a newly registered women-led civil society organization, has officially begun operations in 2026 . Before its formal registration, RDI operated as a volunteer-led initiative for over three years, mobilizing local resources to distribute food items, non-food items, and scholastic materials to 520 people in need . Now legally registered, RDI will scale up its Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security programming, focusing on climate-smart agriculture, livelihood diversification, and improved access to nutritious food for vulnerable communities across Ethiopia .
